My Approach to Therapy
I became a therapist because I'm endlessly curious about people — including myself. I've spent years asking why we get stuck, what drives real change, what gets in the way, and how we come back into alignment with what matters. I've bumped up against my own limits more times than I can count. Which is to say, I'm human! My approach is collaborative, grounded, and focused on helping you make sense of where you are and where you want to go.
I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices to support that process. I also have a great appreciation for Carl Jung's work and depth-oriented therapy — exploring the unconscious, shadow work, and dreams. Over time, I hope clients feel more connected to their values, more courageous in the face of discomfort, and more able to hold space for the full range of their human experience.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master's in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology.
