Summit Counselling Brewery District office — a warm, character home in Edmonton's inner city

Why choose Summit Counselling in Edmonton?

We're not a franchise — we're your neighbours. Our Brewery District location has been part of Edmonton's inner-city community for years, sitting in the heart of the Brewery District and Wîhkwêntôwin ᐄᐧᐦᑫᐧᐣᑑᐃᐧᐣ (Oliver) neighbourhood. The therapists who work here live, work, and raise families right here in this city. That lived experience shapes how we show up in the therapy room. We know the rhythms of Edmonton because we move through them too.

Yes, it really is a house. And that's intentional. We wanted a space that feels like stepping into somewhere warm and human — not a clinical waiting room. From the moment you walk through the front door, the goal is for you to feel at ease.

We take the time to help you connect with a therapist who truly gets your needs. Start with a free consultation to make sure the fit feels right before committing to a session. Your comfort and trust matter, and we work hard to earn both.

Rooted in Wîhkwêntôwin & the Brewery District

We're a locally grown Edmonton practice — not a chain. Our office sits in the Brewery District and Wîhkwêntôwin ᐄᐧᐦᑫᐧᐣᑑᐃᐧᐣ (Oliver) neighbourhood, and we're proud to be part of this community. Our therapists live and work in this city, and that shared experience shapes the care they provide.

A Personalized Fit — Every Time

Finding the right therapist matters more than finding just any therapist. We take the time to understand your needs and make a genuine match. Start with a free 15-minute consultation — no commitment, just a conversation.

Whole-Person Care in Edmonton

Mental health care should reflect the full picture of who you are. Our Edmonton therapists explore patterns, relationships, physical cues, and lived experience to help you make meaningful, lasting shifts — not just symptom management.

Our Brewery District office is located in the Wîhkwêntôwin ᐄᐧᐦᑫᐧᐣᑑᐃᐧᐣ (Oliver) neighbourhood, within Treaty 6 territory, on the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples. We are committed to using the Indigenous names of the places we inhabit, and we recognize that healing and reconciliation is a responsibility shared by all. We are proud to partner with organizations that help Indigenous community members access culturally safe mental health care.
