Specialties & Approach
My Approach to Therapy
I use a person-centred approach, which means I'll take your lead in shaping what therapy looks like for you. I like to leave room for fun and lighthearted moments in therapy when appropriate to help the process feel less intimidating. I also take an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation, among others. Most importantly, if one method doesn't work for you, we'll explore others β because therapy should fit your unique needs, not the other way around.
I attended MacEwan University for my Bachelor's Degree, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology, followed by my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. My practicum was with the Family Centre of Northern Alberta, where I worked with a wide variety of clients and presenting concerns.

We acknowledge that our practice is located in Treaty 6 territory, on the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), MΓ©tis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples. We recognize that healing and reconciliation is a responsibility shared by all and are proud to partner with organizations that help Indigenous community members access culturally safe mental health care.
