My Approach to Therapy
I'm here for when people feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on their own. Whether they're navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, the effects of past experiences, relationship difficulties, big life transitions, or figuring out who they are, I offer a space to slow down and make sense of it all.
Therapy with me looks like honest conversations (with a bit of humour, of course) in an empathetic and non-judgemental space. Most people have thoughts, feelings, or experiences they're scared to say out loud. My role is to help you work through the hard things without facing them alone.
Together, we'll explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that fit your life and goals. My hope is that you leave sessions with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater confidence in handling challenges, and the ability to move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
I have ten years of experience in the non-profit sector supporting children, youth, and families in developing life skills, parenting strategies, and promoting healthy development. I am completing my Master of Counselling degree through Athabasca University in August 2026. In addition to counselling, I have worked in formal psychological assessments for the past two years, administering testing for psychoeducational and forensic disability assessments.
