A Note from Carolina

My Approach to Therapy

I help clients reconnect with themselves when pain, life transitions, or old patterns keep them from understanding their feelings, needs, or how to move forward.

In therapy, we slow things down, make sense of our inner world, and build the skills and self-relationship that help us move forward with clarity, compassion, and choice. I am a Master of Counselling Student at the University of Lethbridge, with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from Concordia University of Edmonton.

I have extensive experience in health care and educational settings, focusing on building trust with clients and supporting their well-being journey.

"Growing up, I frequently heard the phrase Mens sana in corpore sano — 'a healthy mind in a healthy body.' It reminds me that the body contributes to our psychological well-being, yet the mind offers meaning, awareness, and choice, shaping how we interpret and respond to our physical experiences."

We acknowledge that our practice is located in Treaty 6 territory, on the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples. We recognize that healing and reconciliation is a responsibility shared by all and are proud to partner with organizations that help Indigenous community members access culturally safe mental health care.
