My Approach to Therapy
As a therapist, I believe that you have a unique, multistoried life. I am honoured to be a part of that story if you choose me to be, and my goal is to help you grow into the best version of yourself and create lasting change. I will be there to support you, challenge you when needed, and create a safe space where you can explore and heal in a way that feels right for you. Building a strong therapeutic bond is key to our work together, and I strive to create a warm, open, and supportive environment free of judgment to people from all walks of life.
I believe in the healing power of humour and laughter, and I will incorporate these elements into the therapeutic space when appropriate. I practice from a person-centered approach, ensuring that you are at the heart of our work together. Additionally, I work from a strengths-based, attachment lens, which means I focus on your strengths and ability to form healthy connections with yourself and others. I look forward to collaborating with you as we work together to unlock your potential and help you become the best version of yourself!
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from the Concordia University of Edmonton and completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology in 2025. We acknowledge that our practice is located in Treaty 6 territory, on the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), MΓ©tis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples. We recognize that healing and reconciliation is a responsibility shared by all and are proud to partner with organizations that help Indigenous community members access culturally safe mental health care.
