Experience:

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist who is a member in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), and the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA).

I enjoy working with individuals of all cultural and religious backgrounds along with those within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I am particularly interested in working alongside those who struggle with ADHD, depression, and anxiety-related issues as well as athletes seeking to improve their performance. I believe that working with clients to create an environment that helps foster growth, insight, and healing is important to help create meaningful change for clients. My goal with clients is to build a strong alliance with clients to better understand current problems to encourage positive life changes. I use an eclectic approach with a strong emphasis on CBT and mindfulness but I know CBT is not everyones vibe so feedback from clients is always appreciated so that we can explore other therapeutic modalities together!

Types of therapy:

Issues: Depression, anxiety, anxiety-related issues, ADHD, stress, anger management, behavioral issues, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation, self-esteem, self-harm, life changes, and sports performance

More than just my work:

Outside of working with clients, I absolutely love being active and finding new sports to try! Growing up, my whole family enjoyed playing sports and we would often sign up for the local leagues to help keep active in the winter. Although there were sports that I did not pick up, I definitely grew to love playing volleyball and snowboarding in the mountains.
