Specialties & Approach
Wajeeha offers culturally sensitive, inclusive therapy in all four languages.
My Approach to Therapy
As a therapist, I deeply believe in the power of empathy to foster healing and growth. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of how to move forward. Whether it's dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, or a general sense of disconnection, these struggles can make life feel heavy and isolating. My approach is rooted in compassion, providing a safe space where you can feel truly seen and heard. We'll work together to identify patterns, understand underlying causes, and develop effective strategies for healing.
I fluently speak Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, enabling my passion to provide an inclusive and culturally sensitive approach to therapy. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and empowered to express themselves in order to foster a deeper therapeutic connection.
I have completed my Master's of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from MacEwan University. I take an integrative approach to therapy, blending several effective modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Client-centred Therapy. This allows me to tailor my approach to each client's unique needs and experiences. My commitment to my clients' well-being and growth is at the core of everything I do.
