My Approach to Therapy
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist who is a member in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), and the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA).
I enjoy working with individuals of all cultural and religious backgrounds along with those within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I am particularly interested in working alongside those who struggle with ADHD, depression, and anxiety-related issues as well as athletes seeking to improve their performance. I believe that working with clients to create an environment that helps foster growth, insight, and healing is important to help create meaningful change for clients. My goal with clients is to build a strong alliance to better understand current problems and encourage positive life changes. I use an eclectic approach with a strong emphasis on CBT and mindfulness — but I know CBT is not everyone's vibe, so feedback from clients is always appreciated so that we can explore other therapeutic modalities together!
I love working with young adults navigating life transitions into adulthood or post-secondary, and I enjoy incorporating therapeutic tools and evidence-based psychological interventions to help with ADHD management. I also work with depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, behavioural issues, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation, self-esteem, self-harm, and sports/performance psychology.

We acknowledge that our practice is located in Treaty 6 territory, on the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples. We recognize that healing and reconciliation is a responsibility shared by all and are proud to partner with organizations that help Indigenous community members access culturally safe mental health care.
