Experience:

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist who is a member in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA).

I enjoy working with individuals to help them better understand themselves and provide them with tools to handle challenges that life sends their way. Cultivating a safe, respectful space and an environment that inspires hope, clients are encouraged and empowered to explore the path to healing collaboratively. Discovering the strengths and differences of each client, I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and utilize various modalities to support change, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, solution-focused, and Strength-Based therapy and incorporate play-based approaches with children. I have experience in supporting diverse populations with their concerns, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, anger management, grief, trauma, self-harm, life transitions, and significant mental health challenges.

Favorite Quote:

A person’s mind is so powerful. We can invent, create, experience, and destroy things with thoughts alone.”

(“Anonymous,” n.d.).

More than just my work:

During my spare time, I enjoy reading, doing HITT workouts with my favourite YouTube trainers, cooking, and sharing delicious food with my large, loud, fun Lebanese family.
